                                                        The club was founded in 1949 and has enjoyed a steady stream of members some of whom have been with the club from the start.
 
We currently play in the Datchworth Evening Tennis League where we have five tennis teams currently participating as well as other leagues through the year.
 
We also have seven table tennis teams participating in the SHAW Table Tennis League.

  
Club sessions and league participation

Tennis:
 
Club sessions
Club sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm and on Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm
 
Family club sessions for adults and juniors on Sundays from noon - 2pm during the summer only starting Sunday 13th June 2010
 
Ladies morning - Wednesdays 10 - 12

We currently have 6 teams in the league - 2 in the Premier Division, 1 in Division 1, 1 in Division 2, and 2 in Division 3

Facilities

We have three good-quality outdoor hard courts, individually fenced, with floodlights.
 
 
Our clubhouse has changing, kitchen, shower and toilet facilities as well as a good-sized hall.
